Catholic People’s Weeks is a not-for-profit volunteer-led organisation that runs holidays that ‘make a difference’ – known as Catholic People’s Weeks. The organisation’s mission, and therefore the mission of each holiday, is to revitalise the heart, mind and spirit of Catholic people today. In the Winter they hold a weekend event and this one is at our Diocesan Pastoral centre Hinsley Hall.

On Saturday 15th their keynote speaker will be David McLoughlin, Emeritus Fellow of Christian Theology at Newman University, Birmingham. In his research he explores the relationship between theology and everyday life. On the challenge of prophetic imagination in 2020, David says “in every age we need men and women who open up for us the prophetic imagination of a Moses at the burning bush, or Hosea and Amos in a time of national crisis and of Jesus in his time”. David has also worked extensively with CAFOD over the years.
