Catholics do not have a monopoly on working for justice! – but then you probably already knew that.
If you want to try a different flavour of Christian thought about action for Justice then get yourself along to this day which is free to attend. It is being organised through Lighthouse West Yorkshire. Speakers include Katie Dowds and John Swales (of Christian Climate Action, Leeds) who are both associated with this church.
There is an introductory session the previous evening as well. This will be worship-based and will take place in St George’s Church – just along from the General Infirmary in Leeds. The day event on the Saturday takes place in the St George’s Conference centre underneath the church.
