This is a presentation of the 2023 Romero Trust Lecture.
Each year the Romero Trust invite an expert on Central America or who knew St Oscar Romero to give a short UK lecture tour.
This year the lecture will be given by Peggy Healy.
Peggy has worked on human rights issues for many years, She is a former Maryknoll sister and the maryknoll sisters who were martyred during the El Salvadoran civil war were close friends and colleagues.
It provides a rare opportunity to hear a firsthand account of living in circumstances where proclaiming your faith was a dangerous thing to do.
